August 2022 MMPC Meeting
An in-person meeting of the Mid-Michigan Photography Club is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday August 3, 2022. This will be a shooting meeting on the Michigan State University campus. We will meet in front of Beaumont Tower. The Circle Drive and Beal Gardens areas are good for shooting. We will take advantage of the summer lull in traffic at MSU. Note that MMPC will not meet in July, 2022.

Big Cookie
Congratulations to the winner of the March Big Cookie: Glenn Dunn for people’s choice and Andy McDavid for judges’ choice. The judges were Tammy VanderMolen, and Paul Bielawski. The theme for next big cookie is “FUNGI.” Members are encouraged to bring a digital image for the Big Cookie competition at the September meeting.
MMPC Monthly Photo Challenge
Thanks to all who have contributed to the MMPC Photo Challenge. The June theme is Odd Numbers. It is great to see the submissions on the Facebook page. A gallery of the photos from prior months is on the MMPC web site at http://mmphotoclub.net/monthly-challenge/. If you do not use the Facebook group, send your entry by email to mmpclansing@gmail.com so that we can post it to the Facebook page. Discussion of the photos, beyond simply liking the picture, is encouraged. The current and upcoming monthly themes for the photo challenge are:
