Big Cookie

Congratulations to Jim Leary whose photo in the June “Big Cookie” competition won both the “People’s Choice” and the “Judge’s Choice.” Jim’s photo is in the Big Cookie gallery on the MMPC web site at http://mmphotoclub.net/competitionbig-cookie/. The theme for September 2019 Big Cookie competition is “ANIMAL EYES.”

August Meeting

There is no MMPC meeting scheduled in July, 2019. The August MMPC meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Beekman Therapeutic Riding Center, 2901 Wabash Rd, #A, Lansing, MI 48910. We will have the opportunity to photograph the horses.

MMPC Photo Challenge

Thanks to all who have contributed to the MMPC Photo Challenge. The June 2019 theme is Flags. A gallery of the photos is on the web site at http://mmphotoclub.net/monthly-challenge/. If you do not use the Facebook group, send your entry by email to mmpclansing@gmail.com so that we can post it to the Facebook page. Discussion of the photos, beyond simply liking the picture, is encouraged. Note that the rules for the reward drawing have changed. To encourage participation and to not penalize a member that was unable to post in a given month, each member that posts in a month will receive a ticket in the gift card drawing. A member that posts in all 12 months will have 12 tickets in the drawing. Upcoming themes for the photo challenge are:
