August Outdoor Meeting – Frances Park

The August MMPC meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at Frances Park, 2701 Moores River Drive, Lansing, MI 48911. We sought an outdoor location to accommodate social distancing. The park features a rose garden and an overlook on the Grand River. Bring your camera and equipment. Please join us for this hands-on program. We are looking forward to this meeting because it will be the first MMPC event in several months.

September Virtual Meeting

MMPC has been informed that First Presbyterian Church plans to reevaluate use of the church building beginning September 1, 2020. The MMPC Board met virtually and decided to hold a virtual meeting in September 2020 because of the restriction on group activities under the Governor’s Stay at Home order, the uncertainty of plans for activities at First Presbyterian Church, and our concern to prevent transmission of the coronavirus and to protect the safety of MMPC members. The club will conduct a virtual activity in September. Bill Harrison of Custom Photographic will be the presenter on his photo printing during an online meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday September 2, 2020. MMPC will send the online meeting information by email the Monday before the event. The online meeting information will also be posted on the MMPC Facebook Group.
