Big Cookie

Congratulations to the winners of the October Big Cookie (Purple): Glenn Dunn for People’s Choice and for Judges’ Choice. The judges were John Stine and Phil Babcock. The theme for next big cookie is “In the Style of a Master Photographer.” Pick a famous or “master photographer” from the list and create an image of your own that emulates the style of the photographer that you have chosen. Your image need not be of the same subject matter or object displayed in your “master’s” image, but the style of your image should be similar. For instance, if your “master” is known for the use of highly saturated colors, your image should have highly saturated colors. If your “master” is known for moody or misty black and white images, your image should also be moody or misty and in black and white. If your “master” is known for painterly still-life images, yours should also meet that standard. Enjoy the challenge. Bring to the February 2024 meeting a copy of the “master’s” image that inspired you and the image that you have created in that style.
