August MMPC Meeting – August 5, 2026

The August MMPC meeting will be held on Wednesday August 5, 2026, 6:30 p.m. The outdoor August MMPC meeting will be held at Lincoln Brick Park, 13991 Tallman Rd, Grand Ledge, MI 48837. Meet at the pavilion. There are trails near the river and remains of the brick factory at the park.

Big Cookie

Congratulations to James Leary for both the Judges and Peoples Choice awards in the May 2026 Big Cookie friendly photo competition with the theme Silhouette. The club will conduct the next Big Cookie friendly competitions in October 2026. The theme for the September 2026 Big Cookie is “Hands at Work.” Members are encouraged to bring a (only one) digital image the Big Cookie competition at the October 2026 meeting.

MMPC Logo Clothing

MMPC clothing items are available to order. You can specify a hoodie as a pullover or zip-up or you can order a t-shirt. You can bring your order form to an MMPC meeting or you can send your order form to the address on the form. Delivery will be at a future MMPC meeting.

A limited number of club emblem patches are available for $15 each. The patches are 3½ inches square, embroidered, three color patches on heavy white cloth. See Glenn Dunn if you are interested.

MMPC Monthly Photo Challenge

Thanks to all who have contributed to the MMPC Photo Challenge. The July theme is Pure Fill in the Blank Summer. It is great to see the submissions on the Facebook page. If you do not use the Facebook group, send your entry by email to mmpclansing@gmail.com so that we can post it to the Facebook page. Constructive discussion of the photos, beyond simply liking the picture, is encouraged. The current and upcoming monthly themes for the photo challenge are:
