April 2023 MMPC Meeting
To provide all MMPC members the opportunity to see the images in the 2023 MMPC Gallery Show, we will hold the April MMPC meeting as a reception for the Gallery Show. The April MMPC meeting will be held on Wednesday April 5, 2023, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Riverview Church – Holt Venue, 3585 E Willoughby Rd, Holt, MI. The meeting and reception will provide MMPC members the opportunity to view the photographs on display in the Gallery Show and to interact with photographers whose work is shown. Please invite family members and others who may be interested in your images and or the images shown by the club members. Guests are encouraged to attend the event.

MMPC Club Logo
The MMPC Board recently discussed the current logo and is open to ideas for an update. If you have any ideas regarding the logo, please contact an MMPC Board member or send your idea to mmpclansing@gmail.com.
MMPC Gallery Show
The annual MMPC Gallery Show is now at the Riverview Church – Holt Venue, 3585 E Willoughby Rd, Holt, M. There are 23 images in the show. The show runs through March May 23, 2019. A couple of reminders:
Setup – Tuesday, March 7, 2023 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Take-Down – Tuesday, May 23, 2023 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The club’s April 2023 meeting will be a Gallery Show Reception at Riverview Church – Holt Venue.
Meijer Garden Butterflies Field Trip
MMPC will host a field trip to Butterflies are Blooming at Meijer Gardens on Saturday April 1, 2023. We will meet at 8:00 a.m. to carpool from the Boot Barn/Michaels lot on Marketplace South of Saginaw near the Saginaw Exit on I-96.

MMPC Logo Clothing
MMPC clothing items are available to order. You can specify a hoodie as a pullover or zip-up or you can order a t-shirt. You can bring your order form to an MMPC meeting or you can send your order form to the address on the form. Delivery will be at a future MMPC meeting.
Big Cookie
Congratulations to the winners of the February Big Cookie (fungi): James Leary for people’s choice and Diane Sanderson for judges’ choice. The judges were John Stine and Robert Killips. The theme for next big cookie is “BOAT(S).” Members are encouraged to bring a digital image for the Big Cookie competition at the May 2023 meeting.
MMPC Monthly Photo Challenge
Thanks to all who have contributed to the MMPC Photo Challenge. The March theme is Eggs. It is great to see the submissions on the Facebook page. If you do not use the Facebook group, send your entry by email to mmpclansing@gmail.com so that we can post it to the Facebook page. Discussion of the photos, beyond simply liking the picture, is encouraged. The current and upcoming monthly themes for the photo challenge are:
