MSU Fall Color Field Trip
MMPC members are encouraged to participate in a field trip to explore fall color on the campus of Michigan State University.

Gallery Show
The annual MMPC Gallery Show is coming up in October. All MMPC members are encouraged to participate. The following are the dates for the 2017 Gallery Show, to be held at Riverview Church, 3585 E Willoughby Rd, Holt, MI
- Setup – October 23, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
- Open House October 27, 2017, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- Take-Down – December 18, 2017, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
All MMPC members are welcome to participate in the Open House on October 27.
October Meeting
Thanks to the October meeting speaker Devin Munroe who discussed “Shooting with Spheres.” Ceil Heller was elected to an at-large position on the Board. The December Big Cookie theme will be Smoke. Following discussion regarding using fog to meet the theme, the assembled MMPC members decided that the announced theme of Smoke is limited to smoke. Winners of the Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice will receive awards suitable for display, instead of a cookie. There was discussion of a proposal for a monthly themed photo challenge. Details will follow.
Dues
MMPC started collecting annual dues at the September meeting. Thanks to those that paid on time. MMPC dues run from September through August of each year. MMPC members will need to be paid up to participate in the Big Cookie Competition, the Gallery Show, and to follow the Facebook Group.
November Meeting
The next meeting will be on Wednesday November 1, 2017. The speaker Michelle Detering will discuss Photographing Wild Horses.
